Greetings,
I have so much news to share with you so let's get started!
This weekend I traveled to Cosby to help launch the campaign of Steve Samuelson for SD 10.  Following mask and distancing guidelines the event featured a number of candidates and a lots of DFL friends including former Congressman Rick Nolan.
My campaign also picked up endorsements from the Teamsters Joint Council 32 and Council 65 of AFSCME.
Last but not least on Monday Minnesota lawmakers headed back to the state capitol in St. Paul for a second special session. This time around it's hoped  the Republican Senate Majority will stop playing politics with our future and join the DFL Minority in passing critical legislation designed to address our  infrastructure and the public safety of all Minnesotans.
I urge you to contact your state senator and representative to support a robust bonding bill and much needed justice reform.
And finally--about that old garage...
Here is a video I made today on the importance of investing in our communities.
Without a doubt I know our shared values will serve to move our state forward to a more just and healthy future. Thank you for being apart of our team working to flip the Minnesota State Senate.
Until next time, be well and be safe.
Michelle Lee
DFL & Labor endorsed candidate Senate District 11

PS we sure would appreciate a contribution to the Michelle Lee for State Senate Campaign. Please consider making a donation today.

Michelle,

What is your position requiring and encouraging Minnesota cities and town to require more green places (parks) written into the city' or town charter?

What is your position on requiring all new residential buildings to have a fire suppression system especially since the majority of the fire departments are volunteer. Residents have less than five minutes to evacuate the residential structures especially since the materials used are becoming cheaper.

How would you address the continuing need for access to quality health care? How would you encourage local health care facilities recruit and compete with the larger markets?

What is your plan to transition from relying on tourists to support the local economies to bring quality economic partnerships to enhance our communities?

How would you propose to support our small businesses, i.e. farms?

Who is developing your platform and message?

I look forward to your response and thank you for your time.

Respectfully,

Mia
