SD 11 March 7, 2020 It was a wonderful day meeting with DFLers and talking strategy for our Blue Wave 2020. It started bright and early with a trip to Ogilvie for the Kanabec DFL Convention with SD 11 Chair Linda Loon and HD 11A Chair Patty Murto. From Ogilvie we traveled to Rutledge for the Pine County DFL Convention. I had the honor of speaking at both conventions. A big thank you to the organizers and volunteers who work so hard to make these events happen! My day was topped off with a stop at the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet for the local food fair where I spoke with several local producers, scored several loaves of homemade bread and some beautiful cuts of grass fed beef. As you can see, I also scored a photo with former State Senator, Becky Lourey, who has endorsed my campaign to become the next senator to represent SD 11. It was the perfect way to end a day on the campaign trail. Two DFL conventions, a food fair featuring local producers and a picture with former Minnesota State Senator Becky Lourey. Yes, without a doubt, I had a good day on the SD 11 campaign trail!
