Mora Elementary a MN sCHOOL OF eXCELLENCE

Notes from the Senate District 11 Campaign Trail:
It was a sea of blue today in Mora, Minnesota as students, teachers, adminstrators and parents took a well deserved break to celebrate the designation of their elementary school as a Minnesota School of Excellence.
It was a joy to watch the children sing and dance during the awards program and listen to the inspiring comments of educators determined to promote continued excellence in the classroom.
Residents of the Mora Public School District also deserve recognition for their support to ensure a quality education for area kids.
Mora Elementary is just one of eight schools in the state honored this year by the MN Elementary School Principals' Association.
Regardless of their zip code every child deserves a quality education. As the next senator to represent SD 11 I will fight for fully funded schools across Minnesota.
