Once upon a time I hit the gym three to four times a week. The photo on the left was taken when I was in my seventh decade. One of my great friends took it to compare with the image on the right. I was no MM, but I found this comparison quite sweet and was a great motivation tool.
Fast forward into my eight decade, I'm saddled with a few excess pounds and have noticed some serious muscle deterioration. If my journey has taught me anything it's never too late to focus on health and fitness. It's time to dust off my Silver Sneakers membership and get back to the gym. Muscle memory is a good thing. Hopefully my muscles still remember. Below is a photo from one of my last shows snapped in 2013.
