Even before I launched my congressional campaign – during the time when I was talking with friends and family about the issues I wanted to center on – a few mentioned they believed we live in a divided America with increasing numbers of “have-nots” in a two-class system or a dual economy.

It doesn’t have to be like this. We can return to a more equal footing. Some suggestions are more ambitious than others and involve changing the cultural beliefs that have been reinforced over generations.
We can do this. We can reverse the increasingly divided path we’re on. It sound like a tall order. I believe the time is right for this change in direction. I invite you to share your ideas with me as we move forward together.
